Missions: Our Church's Heartbeat

Missions is the heartbeat of West Haven Baptist Church. Our church has been involved in world-wide missions since its founding. We use the “Faith-Promise Plan,” which is a personal financial commitment our members make to God (not the church). We promise God a definite amount of money to give each week or month for missions, over and above our regular tithes and offerings.

At present, our church supports eleven missionary families and one Bible college. These ministries are located here and around the world. Our annual Missions Conference in October is the time when our members are challenged to make their commitment for the following year. All members have a voice and vote as to whom we will have as part of our missionary family.

We invite you to visit us and learn more about our burden for missions and talk to some of our members who have served on the foreign field.
